You Always Love This Time Of Year

Inspired by recent walks, I wanted to capture the stillness and palette of nature’s spectacular Autumn display. The title is also a line in the iconic 1970’s hit single, ‘Forever Autumn’. The original melody of the song, has the ignominious claim to fame as being used as a jingle for a Lego commercial in 1969! Jeff Wayne the writer, wanted to use it on his ground breaking musical version of ‘The War of the Worlds’, selecting Justin Hayward, of The Moody Blues, to sing it because, Wayne said, he “wanted that voice from ‘Nights in White Satin’‘. The song reached #5 on the UK Singles Chart in August 1978… Unframed and limited to just 10 prints. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.
