“Moseley Folk Festival has been performing in this stunning 11-acres, of woodland for 10 years. The stages are placed in front of the lake. The grounds slopes naturally giving it a natural amphitheatre in front of the lake. What a view to have and relax and have a picnic with the family while watching the acts on stage. What a marvellous view to look down onto the stage with the back drop of the lake.
Moseley Park is situated close to the village, it is privately owned since 1896 and run by locals as charitable trust. Local people who generously donate their time for the benefit of the surrounding community. It generates funds through annual subscriptions from key holders and through special events like Moseley Folk Festival. Anybody can apply to become a key holder the benefits are this contributes to the maintenance of the grounds plus discount on the purchase of the Festival ticket.
It is fast establishing to be known locally the main event of the year, hundreds of people turn up for music in the park.
During the weekend of music, you will hear unknown bands along with well-known international music groups. It’s a chance for new bands to establish themselves on the music seen.
