Storms over the bull

Birmingham Bull Ring

Famous bull creator Laurence Broderick from Cambridge designed the ironic bronze sculpture has been declared one of the world’s top public works of art.  The 6 tonne sculpture, twice the size of a real bull. Installed in 2003 has become a mark for the Bull Ring at the entrance to the shopping centre, it has seen some strange clothing at times.

So when I decided to mark the floods iwe had recently in Birmingham.  I just had to paint the bull looking out towards the storms in the city centre.

Our lady, has been out shopping in the Bull Ring, meeting up with the girls and now she finds herself stepping out with the storms in front of her.
