Where the Natterjacks Play

By Kate Bull

Where the Natterjacks Play

Natterjack toads are disappearing from the UK coastline, as sand dunes are being replaced by buildings. These ponds at Talacre, North Wales are part of a conservation project to breed and protect these noisy little toads.

This painting was highly commended by the Mayor of Runnymede and also his personal favourite of Virginia Water Art Society 2015 Winter Exhibition.

I won the Pat Hare trophy for this painting.
