Dendera Temple Buildings

Dendera is a Greaco-Roman site on the banks of the Nile surrounded by massive mud walls. It contains buildings dating from the 1st century BC and one of the ealiest staircases. We were there in the late afternoon after most of the tourists had left; apparently access to most of the roof is now forbidden since someone ventured too close to the edge and fell to her death on the paving beplow.

This picture is available as a professionally photographed, high quality Giclee print, in a limited edition of 20.
