Looking down from the Escarpment, Udabno, Georgia

Looking down from the ridge along which the Georgian/Azerbaijan border runs, one stands with ones’ back to the caves of Udabno - the Davit Gareja monastery complex of churches and dwellings carved out of the cliffs in the 10th -13th centuaries, many still showing their colourful frescoes.

Also available as professionally produced, limited edition giclee prints.
