the land of Cockaigne

The title for theis piece comes from the painting of the same name by Bruegal the Elder. The place it describes is of a world where all our needs are given freely, how there is no need to work to survive, and how lazy,  complacent and unmotivated humans become. As if there is no purpose to life without the daily grind. The bird represents a moment of change, on opportunity, if we sit up and take notice.
