Harry Patch (WW1 Veteran)

Harry Patch was 105 years young when I drew this picture. He served in the 7th Duke of Cornwalls’ Light Infantry, on the Western Front during the 1st World War; was wounded but went back. He launched the British Legion Poppy Appeal in 2007 at the age of 109. The last surviving veteran of WW1, Harry died on the 25th July 2009
