Artists Description
Jungle Birds was inspired by Henri Rousseau’s “Jungles in Paris” exhibition at Tate Modern in 2005/2006. Rousseau’s painting “Tiger in a Tropical Storm (Surprised!)”, 1891, is the painting in particular which most motivated me to paint this interpretation.
