Summer Butterfly Necklace - Labrodorite and Sterling silver

I have set this stunning piece of Labrodorite in a bezel created from swirls of sterling silver wire, at the top of the pendant sits a sterling silver butterfly. I have embellished the wire work with sterling silver beads of graduating sizes and faceted Citrine rondelles. At the bottom of the pendant hangs a wrapped Amazonite drop. The pendant hangs from the necklace by a bail that is woven with thin sterling silver wire and embellished with a faceted citrine and swirls of wire.

The necklace is made using round sterling silver beads of graduating sizes and Bali silver beads, round Amazonite and Labrodorite beads with faceted citrine rondelles and ovals, colors reminiscent of a dreamy summers day. The necklace is finished with handmade sterling silver wire cones, wrapped links and a trigger clasp.

I have oxidized this piece to really highlight the detail.

The necklace is 17” long. The pendant measures 3 1/4” from the top of the bail to the bottom of the drop and is 1 1/4” at it’s widest point.
