Artists Description
I got to thinking about the Ladybird Books I read as a kid – enlightening the wide-eyed boy with tales of science, history and imperialism.
They must have done a book on the English Civil War (if not, they should have done) so I wondered how the subject would have been treated in the comics of the time, with Puritanical emotion rather than something as dull as the facts.
