From a limited edition run of 195 prints
I have always had a fascination with butterflies, and they often find their way into my paintings. I used to live next to a field with thistles, which was a haven for my favourite butterflies. This painting was originally commissioned as a series of nature cards for The Butterfly House at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
Soon there will be three more butterflies to accompany this image.
