A serious game of dominoes
First thing my dad would do, would be to get the dominoes out. He’s the one wearing the tie (after he’d bought his pint). He’d sit with his mates and play all night, unless he was defeated and he’d have to wait his turn for another go. The tables were small and pints and cigarettes were crowded into a small area. Sometimes you couldn’t see who was playing for the smoke. Even so there were rarely any accidents.
The pubs gone now and sadly so have all the players
