…The rag and bone man came round usually on the same day each week. There was always someone who would have something to give the “Rag Man”. Clothes always went missing at home. But it wasn’t until later that an item of clothing was discovered to have gone “missing”. No one would own up and no one knew who had taken whose belongings and where they had gone.
