Artists Description
Inspired by Flandrin’s 1836 classic painting hanging in the Louvre. I added the woman in a similar pose… Remember the children reading in their blazers with their backs against the globe on front of the educational comic ‘Look And Learn?’ The children have since grown up somewhat and now they really are ‘Learning’.
