Artists Description
It was made during the ‘Mosaic your Garden in 5-days’ class, so was a group project in 2009.
The pointing on the brickwork around the door was quite messy, but solid. So creating this mosaic was a way to get ‘round that.
The leaves were created from wine bottle glass, the stems of the wisteria from a variety of beer bottles. The bird was made by Jan Kilpatrick, of Wild Tiles, who is the tutor of the mosaic classes.
