Artists Description
The Doge or Ducal palace in Venice sometimes lights up with the special lights in Venice and can look orange with the canal in front of it reflecting that orange light. I used my special, laodable brush handles, filling them with heavy-bodied acrylic paints to make the outlines of the palace, then filled them in with brushed on smooth acrylic orange paint and finished off with a fine brush to give the contrast in white and green, producing this very vibrant, 3-D sort of painting of the Ducal Palace.
