Artists Description
Loosely painting smoothly applied acrylics were used here to depict how people in Venice believe the spirit or ghost of the gondoliers lives on in the skies and calles of Venice. I kind of picture these disembodied spirits lurking about before all the throngs of tourists come out in force to face the day draped over the bridges and weighing down all the gondolas.
