Artists Description
This lonely blackbird was inside a house in Arbroath, it was a stately home and the bird seemed quite content to sit in the window. He sat while I sketched him with pen and ink on buff-coloured pastel paper. I enjoyed the loose way in which I sketched this blackbird.
