Heavily textured acrylics painting painted with palette knives. I like the dramatic contrast of this painting with the hands of God coming down to grasp the needy child’s hands. The heavily-textured background is dark and disturbing to depict this dark and disturbing world that drives us to reach out for God’s help and protection, and He is always there for us.
