Artists Description

Swans are so regal that they seem totally at home in the majestic setting of Venice. I loved the colours of the windows and shops backing onto this bridge under which a gondola was parked. Here I’ve painted using traditional smooth acrylics painting techniques with fine, acrylic brushes and have used bright turquoise blue for the water seeing as it was a brilliant day with the brightest blue sky reflected in the canal.
