Artists Description
Murano is an exciting waltz of colour on washday where the lower, brightly-coloured houses all are draped with colourful laundry on wash day in Murano. Unlike Venice, Murano has square and rectangular windows and doorways, instead of the opulent arches and arched windows. Murano is more colourful with residents painting their own style of houses with bright paints which sparkle brightly in the sunshine and also brighten up the duller days. Murano is famous for its production of blown-glass items.
