Artists Description
I like the balanced composition of this painting of ponies in the Ochil Hills near Stirling. Their tranquil existence is startled by the overhead swishing of eagle’s wings. The harmonious use of lavenders and blues contrast well with the greens of the grass. I enjoyed the challenge of creating movement through the horses appearing to be galloping and the eagle fluttering above.
