Artists Description
The warm blues and lavenders provide great contrast to the vivid blue of the moored boat, and the accent colour of the red float add to the charm and peacefulness of this painting. I enjoy the challenge of making water actually look like water, with the reflection of the boat and it’s float in the water. The light greys and lavenders of the distant hills give this painting a feeling of depth.
