by Lindi Kirwin
This contemporary painting has been executed in acrylics, using a dry-brush technique with matt medium [no water] to capture a translucent quality and depth which gives the composition a deliberate blurry appearance.
This is a vivid painting with strong cadmium orange hills, contrasting with a lonely green tree in the centre of the field. It is painted on loxley box canvas with clean unpainted edges.
I took this photo in Lyme Park, Disley, close to my home and changed the colours in ‘Photoshop’ to give a ‘different’ look before painting.
I have Signed and numbered Limited Edition Giclee Prints (Ltd to 100), available of archival quality, 16” x 16” £75 each. Please enquire for details.
