Foxglove in my garden
Artists Description

During the summer of 2006, I was sitting in my garden and sketched this picture in watercolour pencil from a foxglove growing in a flowerbed. I left the picture for some time before deciding to paint it in oils. I think it’s worked out ok. The work is on a deep edge box canvas and is varnished. No frame is required and the picture comes with a simple fixing, allowing normal picture hooks to be used.

It currently hangs in my living room, as it complements the furnishings.
