These block-mounted, digital prints are the outcome of my first foray into digital art. Not my first love but a fascinating world that I may return to in the future. The two pieces are the culmination of a college module entitled “Identity”, where I took photographs of crushed beer cans, exploring just how mutilated the cans needed to be before their identity disappeared. This progressed when I realised I could change the identity of the cans even further by digital manipulation, hence the torso shapes. Great fun and an interesting result.
