Road to Buxton
Artists Description

This is a painting, 12” x 36” on Loxley box canvas,  inspired from a photograph I took on the winding road from Macclesfield to Buxton.[Shuttlingsloe is just out of shot, but would be top right of this piece, so some might recognise the view.] I digitally changed the colours on Photoshop to enhance the colours…so yes, it has been deliberately changed to look richer and quirkier! I have used dry-brush acrylic with matt medium [no water] to give it a fluid translucency which gives the composition a deliberate blurry appearance.

Giclee prints available.
