Not Quite Everything Is Black and White
Artists Description

This painting is a variation of “Not Everything is Black & White :- An abstract representation of the theory that not everything in life is black and white. This painting can be hung in any direction. Painted with acrylic paints for the black, white and grey stripes. I also used metallic pearlescent acrylic paints for the middle horizontal section, which I spread on with a palette knife, known to some as a trowel. The edges are also painted so that the pattern continues on both sides. It is painted on a box framed canvas, so you do not necessarily need to frame it, although the sides are slightly less deep than my usual ones at 3/4 inch. I painted this one when fellow artist Rob Kirbyson bought my other one. I liked it so thought I’d repeat the design. Nearly.
