Artists Description
Watching the light disappear in late summer you’re hit by thick bands of blue of different hues as the clouds roll in from between the Aran Isles and the Cliffs of Moher. I applied the paint using my old gardening glove and bits of kitchen roll.
The lighthouse was upgraded in 2001 and the old diesel generators taken out. I discovered this from a website called the Commission for Irish Lights. They have a publication called BEAM magazine. Check them out at http://www.cil.ie.
