I have been working as a travel writer for many years, but my first love is painting. My travels have influenced my work and I am particularly inspired by mountains, the seasons, clouds, sea and lakes.

I studied for my BA (hons) Art Degree at Falmouth College of Art, then for a Fine Art Masters Degree at Norwich School of Art and Design. Since then I have completed an MA in art psychotherapy, and have had a studio at the Vernon Mill, Stockport for 2 years. I worked on commissioned paintings for the first year at the Mill, but changed studios in June, since then I started working with second hand books.
