Jenny Wilcockson
My passion is the countryside. There is nothing I love more than to lose myself in the great outdoors - walking, photographing, sketching. It’s these experiences that form the foundations of my artwork. What I see, what I feel, what I experience - it all feeds into my work. Whether it’s a simple botanical waterolour or a raging sea in oils, the finished piece is the product of my love, understanding and appreciation of the subject.
Over the years, my artwork has featured in numerous different places and publications across the country. I’ve received several commissions from the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, exhibited at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (NEWA), been published in the Natural England newlsetter and helped secure the RHS Silver Gilt award for Blackpool and the Fylde College.
I also offer private art tuition, providing advice on techniques and materials associated with all aspects of drawing, painting and illustration. I offer one-off classes, as well as regular sessions. Please get in touch if you would like to know more or see my website for further details.
