Margaret Studley
I paint and draw outdoor subjects - landscapes, buildings, boats etc. My interest in art lies in picture-making. To this end. I consider good, strong composition to be crucial. I am fascinated by, and passionate about, the impact and possibilities of shape and colour.
As my work evolves, I increasingly incorporate drawing into my paintings, or alternatively, work solely with pen and ink.
