Terms and conditions of sale
1. All quotations are valid for a period of 14 (fourteen) days from the date of origin.
2. Consultation with clients will take place at the design stage and at other negotiated times if deemed appropriate by both the customer and artist.
3. All exterior mosaic work is guaranteed for a period of one calendar year from date of installation or purchase, providing that reasonable precautions have been taken to avoid misuse and/or inappropriate treatment.
4. Commissions can be ordered via the website. A 40% deposit is required prior to commencement of commissioned mosaic work being started.
5. Payment must be made in full on completion/delivery of work. Legal action may be taken to recover outstanding invoiced payments.
6. The artwork will remain the property of alphadesignsuk until full settlement is made.
7. If commissioned work is cancelled after the work has been started (after the statutory seven days - see 9) the customer will forfeit the full deposit paid.
8. Because of the nature of mosaic work, alphadesignsuk cannot guarantee that two orders for the same logo/design, although appearing the same from a distance, will look exactly the same in close up.
9. The customer has 7 (seven) days from the signing of the quotation to cancel the contract, thereafter, the customer will have deemed to forfeit any deposit paid. This does no affect your statutory rights.
10. Any work taken by the customer on a SALE OR RETURN basis - all damaged items must be paid for at the price quoted at the time by alphadesignsuk and accepted by the customer.
11. Any rented artwork damaged during the period of rental for whatever reason must be paid for at the TRADE price.
12. The garden ornaments and sculptures are not toys and small children should not be allowed to play with them. Mosaic pieces are either ceramic tiles or sea glass which, despite all safety measures being taken, may have sharp edges and may cut if care is not taken. alphadesignsuk cannot accept liability for injury caused by misuse of this mosaic, including lifting and carrying, stroking etc.

The lizard has arrived safely - it’s gorgeous ! I’m sure the schools will love borrowing it.
We are delighted with the rock lizard. He now sits on our patio wall so we can see him from the garden, patio and house. We love the rock you selected as it sparkles in the sun and the colours of the glass are perfect for our garden - he seems to be emerging from the undergrowth!
