in painting mixed media

i have been painting and drawing for a number of years. i have used various art mediums (oils, watercolours etc though I do prefer pastels. I have lived in and around the mining area of Durham all my life. my work represents a variety of subjects from mining to cats, from seascapes to landscapes and other subject matter. Recently i began a series of oil paintings with a nostalic feel to them after i had talked with friends about work, roles, treats and things we knew and remembered back then, (when we were young and just took for granted) which are now on the verge of disappearing or have gone altogether I hope you enjoy my work.
