I have been painting and drawing for a number of years. I have used various art mediums such as oils, watercolours etc though I now prefer oils. I have lived in and around the mining area of Durham all my life. My work represents a variety of subjects. Recently I began a series of oil paintings with a nostalgic feel to them after I had talked with friends about work, roles, treats and things we knew and remembered back when we were young children growing up,  which are now on the verge of disappearing or have gone altogether I hope you enjoy my work.
