Carol McDermott

I have complete my BA degree at Northampton University. My interest and inspiration is nature, flowers and plants forming the basis of my work. I am looking at the shapes, patterns, colours and textures. I take the original photos myself manipulating them to give me interesting shapes. These are painted mainly in oils, I also use acrylic, watercolour, pencils and inks, mixing the media to give me the effects I need.
