British born artist Cecil Rice, working in Brighton. He holds yearly exhibitions of his original paintings, Watercolours and Oils. He has had solo exhibitions at Gallery 27, Cork Street and at the Royal Academy (work on paper, 2006). His slikscreen prints can be found in galleries throughout the UK. His paintings are often of shoreline subjects, including the city of Venice and his home town Brighton. He has an eye for Meditteranean light too, painting in North Africa, Spain, Italy and France.
