Kim Lane
I love colour and the way it changes with the light,particularly the effects on landscape and sky. I’m aiming for the essence of the subject in colour, form and movement especially with plant and wildlife subjects. To avoid too tight an image, I use coloured papers,leaves,feathers and other found items with little or no paint medium. I find this gives the work an immediacy and directness which is quite distinctive.
