Joan’s childhood was spent studiously avoiding school, except for the art lessons, preferring to spend many an hour with her Grandmother learning to draw. A true romantic with a love of the outdoors, Joan loves to work using watercolour and pastels and, in keeping with her romantic nature you will find hidden in every picture, a heart as a symbol of the love and joy she puts into her creations.
