PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND FAQ'S BEFORE REGISTERING FOR ArtWeb PRINTS PROGRAM. PARTICIPATION IN ArtWeb PRINTS PROGRAM INDICATES THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR OR PARTICIPATE IN THE ArtWeb PRINT PROGRAM.

Introduction.

This agreement ("Agreement") between You ("The Artist") and The Artists Web Ltd. ("ArtWeb") consists of ArtWeb Prints Program (the "Program") Standard Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions"). "You" or "The Artist" means any entity identified in an enrolment form submitted by the same or affiliated persons, and/or any agency or network acting on its (or their) behalf, which shall also be bound by the terms of this Agreement. To participate in the program The Artists will submit digital images of artwork ("The Images") that shall be made available and manufactured as Prints ("The Prints") by a third party publishers ("The Publishers") ArtWeb has negotiated agreements with, namely Easyart Limited ("Easyart") who sell direct to the public via easyart.com and by a wholesale publisher named Studio Artwalk LLC ("Studio Artwalk") who sells to a number of major publishing channels including but not limited to the following websites, art.com leibermanns.com barewalls.com allposters.com.

Key Points

1)The Images The Artist submits to the The Program will be made available on sale to visitors of ArtWeb and Easyart's network of websites.
2) The Artist will recieve commission on the sale revenue as follows.

3) Commission is paid every month when the balance due is 50GBP or greater
4) The Artist must submit high quality digital images with the prints submission section of ArtWeb control panel.
5) The Artist grants permission to ArtWeb and The Publishers to reproduce prints of The Images submitted for sale as outlined in this agreement and in addition The Artist grants permission for The Images to be displayed on the respective websites where they are made available for sale.

Print Submission

Please read this carefully as if any images submitted do not satisfy the criteria below then it may result on all The Images submitted by The Artist not being accepted.

Image Acceptance Criteria
The Artist must submit high resolution digital images of their artwork subject to the following criteria:
* Ideally 1100mm at 150dpi/ 550mm at 300dpi on the shortest size, approx 6500 pixels - see the sample image; NB files of this size will take at least several minutes to upload.
* At least 500mm at 150dpi/ 250mm at 300dpi along the shortest side, approx 3000 pixels.
* Do not enlarge lower resolution images; the quality will be poor and they will be rejected.
* JPEG format saved at highest possible quality.
* Try and keep to a maximum filesize of 25Mb.
* The Images must be print-ready, i.e. no need for any cropping, colour adjustment or any other post processing.
* Ideally the image should have an Adobe 1998 RGB colour profile attached; if not the image will be converted to this format.
* The Artist must have the right to distribute and authorise printing of The Images.
* The Artist grants permission to ArtWeb and The Publishers to reproduce prints of the Images submitted for sale as outlined in this agreement. In addition The Artist grants permission for The Images to be displayed on ArtWeb and The Publishers' networks of websites.

Unacceptable images
* Any image not adhering to the above
* Explicitly pornographic
* Hateful/Offensive
* Illegal
* Famous personas (this is a potential copyright issue)

Image submission
The Images are to be submitted using the prints submission section of ArtWeb control panel. Please bear in mind that due to the large file size each image will take a few minutes to submit. After an image is submitted you will need to fill out all the image details before you can submit the image for inclusion in the print service.
Once The Images have been submitted they will be checked by ArtWeb and then sent to The Publishers for approval. The approval process happens once a month so please allow up to one month for your images to become on sale as prints. You can check the status of your prints at any time through the prints section of the control panel. Please note ArtWeb and The Publishers reserve the right to decline submissions at their sole discretion.

Copyright and Indemnification
The Artist must be the copyright holder of the images they submit to The Program and grants ArtWeb and The Publishers permission to reproduce prints of the images for the purpose of sale as outlined in the agreement. The Artist shall retain copyright over any images submitted. In addition the Artist agrees to indemnify ArtWeb and The Publishers against and bear all costs for any copyright infringement claims, legal proceedings relating to the images the Artist submits to the program, NB do not submit images that you are not the original copyright holder, or do not have written permission from the original copyright holder to submit to the print program. Any images that are found to infringe copyright will be removed immediately and without notice.

Payment

1) ArtWeb will pay The Artist ("The Commission"), a sum calculated as per the commission table of the total revenue levied by The Publishers respectively on each of The Artist's Prints (excluding VAT, delivery and returns within 21 days of order) in respect of the supply of any print as offered on The Publishers websites which incorporates The Artist's images. Please note this percentage excludes the framing of prints.
2) The Commission will be paid the month after the balance reaches 50GBP (see examples below) and shall be remitted electronically via a 3rd party payment provider, initially to be Paypal.
3) The Artist is required to have an account with the designated payment provider and agrees to bear any fees the payment provider levies on each transaction

NB If you account takes a particularly long time to reach the 50GBP threshold, we can make infrequent smaller value payments on request.

Other

Communications Solely With ArtWeb
You agree to direct to ArtWeb and not to The Publishers any communication regarding the sale of your prints and their display on ArtWeb and The Publishers websites.

Termination/Withdrawl
ArtWeb may at any time, in its sole discretion, terminate all or part of the Program, terminate this Agreement, or suspend or terminate the participation of any of the prints in all or part of the Program for any reason. Where possible, ArtWeb will give advanced notice of any such termination and if appropriate reasons for the termination.

You may end your participation in the Program or withdraw any of your prints from the program by sending written notice (email acceptable) detailing which of your prints you would like to withdraw or if you would like to withdraw entirely. Please allow up to 28 days for ArtWeb and The Publishers to remove your prints from the program and permanently delete all image data from our respective systems.

No Guarantee
ArtWeb makes no guarantee regarding the amount of sales, the timing of such sales or the amount of any payment to be made to You under this Agreement.
